One finished order, read all the way back.
WH/MO/00011 closed with six Ladder Bookshelf units in Oak. This is lot traceability as it should work: ask Diana what went into the run and she walks the bill of materials as it was actually consumed (the lumber, the screws, the brackets, the finish), each line tied to the receipt it came in on.
No report to build, no filter to remember, no afternoon in the archive. The trail was written while the floor was running; Diana just reads it back to whoever is allowed to ask.
Oak, 72″
The short component, caught before the run.
Diana reads Manufacturing and Inventory together, so she knows both what you are about to make and what you actually have. When a component comes up short, she does not just flag it. She prepares the transfer that fixes it.
And then she waits. The move sits as a draft, tied to the person who asked, until someone on your floor approves it. It stays your call, every time.
Every lot, traced. Not most. Every.
When a customer, an auditor, or your own QA asks what went into a lot, the trail is already written: every material, tied to its receipt, tied to the run. What used to be an afternoon in the archive is now a sentence in chat.
You can let it act on the floor, because every move is auditable.
Every read, every prepared transfer, every approval and every refusal writes one audit record, tied to the person who asked. That is the whole reason a lean plant can hand real work to AI.
Frequently asked questions.
Is this lot traceability software for Odoo?
Yes, without another system to feed. Odoo already writes the trail while your floor runs; Odient reads it back on demand. Ask what a finished order consumed and every material returns traced to the receipt it came in on, whether the asker is your QA lead, an auditor, or a customer on the phone.
Does it work with Odoo Manufacturing on Community?
Yes. Community or Enterprise, Odoo 17, 18 or 19. Odient reads Manufacturing and Inventory together (MOs, BoMs, lots, receipts, transfers) and only loads the modules you have installed.
Can it act, or only trace?
Both, in that order. When a component comes up short for the next run, Diana prepares the internal transfer that fixes it, and holds it. Nothing moves on the floor until someone on your floor approves it, and either way the decision is in the audit trail.
