This page explains what Odient does with your information. Odient is a product of Zehntech Technologies Inc., and it runs on top of the Odoo you already control. We wrote this in plain language because that is how the product works.
Who we are
Odient is built and operated by Zehntech Technologies Inc., an enterprise software company and Odoo App Store publisher. When this page says “we,” it means Zehntech.
What we collect
Two kinds of information. First, the details you give us directly - your name, work email, company, and Odoo version when you book a demo or talk to our team. Second, the operational records Odient reads from your Odoo to do its job, such as the partners, orders, invoices and inventory involved in a question you ask.
How we use it
We use your contact details to reply to you and to run your demo or beta. We use your Odoo data only to serve the request in front of us - answering a question, drafting a quote, or preparing an action you then approve. Every request Odient handles is written to an audit trail so you can see who asked, what ran, and whether policy allowed it.
AI and your data
Odient uses AI to understand your questions and prepare work inside Odoo. We do not use your business data to train foundation models. For teams that want everything to stay on their own hardware, an on-premise option built around the Odient LM model is in development.
Security
Odient runs behind a governance layer: a prompt firewall, per-user access decisions, tool-scope policy, and a full audit trail. Access to your Odoo uses scoped, short-lived credentials. You can read more on our Security page.
Retention
We keep the contact details you share for as long as we are in touch about Odient, and the audit records for as long as your account is active, so the trail stays complete. You can ask us to remove your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of our emails. Because Odient reads from your own Odoo, you also stay in control of that data directly in your Odoo instance.
